The New Zealand Nomads are a large organised criminal gang formed in Horowhenua, New Zealand in 1977 by Dennis Hines. Originally part of the Black Power gang, they split to form their own gang. They are involved in drug dealing, theft, murder, and extortion, and have a long-standing rivalry with the Mongrel Mob. The gang remains active with members in prison as of 2013.
