The Milwaukee crime family was an Italian-American Mafia organization based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, founded around 1918 by Vito Guardalabene. At its peak, it had over 50 made members and was involved in racketeering, skimming from Las Vegas casinos, and other illegal activities. The family was most influential under boss Frank Balistrieri, who led from the early 1960s until his death in 1993. Afterward, the Chicago Outfit absorbed the family, and it ceased to exist as an independent organization by 2024.
