Colombian urban guerrilla group active from 1974 to 1990, founded after alleged electoral fraud. It advocated revolutionary nationalism and democratic socialism, inspired by Tupamaros and Montoneros. At its peak, it was the second largest guerrilla group in Colombia with 1,500-2,000 members. It demobilized in 1990 and became a political party, later merging into the Independent Democratic Pole.
